INFORMATION

PLEASE NOTE – Like most breeders we rarely, if ever, have monkeys waiting for homes, we have a waiting list. If you ask us how long that is we often don’t know because its a list of people we call when we have babies… Some times the first on the list says yes, other times 20 people aren’t ready so #21 gets the monkey and the list is much shorter BUT generally it can be from 6 months to over a year. So plan well ahead !

We are a small family breeder based in Punta Gorda Southwest Florida and we are licensed by Florida Fish and Wildlife and USDA. We breed Marmosets, Cotton Top Tamarins, and Red Handed Tamarins, some of the smallest monkeys in the world weighing under 1 pound when adult. These little guys come from the Atlantic Coastal Forest of Brazil and Columbia , and are known as New World Monkeys.

They are playful, clean, they love human company and they make great companions but they are a serious commitment 24/7.. They can not be left alone for long, require exposure to sunlight, have specific dietary requirements and need lots of stimulus. They are social animals and need to interact with you most of the time so please make sure you understand the level of commitment required.

If you can supply the time and care to these little guys you will have a wonderful playful caring companion.

You will require a State license to keep a monkey and many states prohibit this so please do your research.. Contact your state fish and wildlife department, local police department and county administration to ensure you comply with each of their requirements.

Please be aware it is Federal Law that primates can only be sold by licensed USDA breeders Our babies come with a USDA health certificate, book, guidance sheets, feed, syringe, blanket, toy and you can call or message us for follow up support any time you like.

Some States ban primates totally and others require a permit. We can assist you in getting your permit if you are in Florida.

Please be aware of the scammers offering monkeys for $500, there are no $500 monkeys, you will pay at least $2,000 to $30,000 in most states..
