All About Our Ranch
We are a small family operated breeder of monkeys since 2007. We not only raise these amazing little beings, but we live our lives with multiple companions in our home. Monkeys are our passion and raising healthy, well-balanced, well socialized babies to go into the right forever homes is our mission.
Welcome to mimi exotic ranch where we raise adorable, sweet, hand fed, prespoiled Common, Penicillata, and Geoffrey Marmosets plus Cotton Top, Red Handed Tamarin and capuchin Monkeys. Marmosets and Tamarins are one of the smallest monkeys in the world and can make amazing pets. As adorable as they are, they have very specific needs and care to make a desirable companion. To learn more, please read the information on our website. The more information you know about these monkeys the better experience you will have with your baby. We usually have hand raised babies available. Click on "Babies Available" to see the babies that we currently have for adoption.

MARMOSETS
Marmosets (Callithrix jacchus) are New World monkeys. They originally lived in the rainforest of the Northeastern coast of Brazil. They are very small monkeys with relatively long tails. Males and females are of similar size. Their body being around 7-10 inches and weighing nearly 16 ounces. The fur of the marmoset is multicolored, being sprinkled with brown, grey, and yellow. Common marmosets have white ear tufts, while Penicillatas have black ear tufts and Geoffreys have a mostly white fur around their faces. A marmoset’s face has black across the nose area and a white blaze on the forehead. The coats of infants lack ear tufts and have grey fur over their head and neck. Marmosets have claw-like nails on most of their fingers. Only their big toes have the flat nails. They can hang on to trees vertically and leap between them, as well as run across branches.

#junglevibes Spider monkeys predominantly live in tropical rainforests of Central & South America, stretching from Mexico to Bolivia. Sadly ALL species of spider monkeys are now #endangered #endangeredspecies. Please when looking to add one of these complex, highly intelligent, very human like, caring, emotional monkeys to your home, only do so through ethical means. Only adopt / purchase thru a licensed USDA Breeder or Zoo. That means your baby was born n captivity and you can see the babies parents. Check all state, city and county laws where you legally reside. And also just as importantly PLEASE don’t acquire any monkey if you can not afford or do not plan to provide a 2nd monkey playmate of the same species. Minimum of 2 but remember all monkeys are troop animals. No monkey should be forced to live in solitude in a home without an other like him or her. It’s selfish. Spiders live 40-45 years. So yes super cute as babies. But once past the baby stage they have a lot of needs that need to be met .
